Yup. This Is a video of Me(ughh.), My twin sister,Courtney, and my Bestfriend, Savannah. Last summer, SkyMaina, super sweaty. eww. I remixed it with the songs Walking on a dream, by Empire of the sun, and Flashing lights, by Kanye West. good times. :D

Indie Music Monday: Empire Of The Sun - Walking On A Dream

This week's Indie album of the week; Empire Of The Sun's 'Walking On A Dream'.I first got interested with this album When I saw a video of Empire Of The Sun's first single, 'Walking on a dream'. (Which I used a while ago; In a youtube video I created. I'll put it on here :D) I loved the video, and <3-ed the creativiy of it. A couple of months later, I was scrolling through collection of music on my zune, and saw that I only had the single of 'Walking On A Dream', and me,the kind of person I am, Realized that I had to get the whole album. (yeah, I have kinda a thing about songs and albums; I always have to get the whole album, not just a song or too. Oh yeah, I keep forgeting; I have to get the rest of The Doves and Hercules and love Affair's album[s] ) Once I listened to it, I fell in love with it. It had a very 'other world-ly' element to it, that was maintaned, Through-and-through. It remined me of when I was a child, living in Las Vegas, When I would go to the Mirage, and would see the tigers and stuff, just the over-powering, the wild, dangerous-ness of being around the animals. you get that one-with-nature-and-wild feeling that this album really gives off. The first song of the Album, 'Standing On The Shore' was a great Introduction to the album.(and Also had a great guitar riff :D) Then the song 'Half mast' had a great steady beat, that flowed into a acoustic guitar outro, that flowed into 'We Are The People', also another single from them.(I learned the song on my Bass guitar :D yeah...)The album was filled with a bunch of other awsome songs, 'Swordfish Hotkiss Night', 'Country' and my Tear-jerking favorite, 'Without You'. Aside from the controversy and my thoughts of the band itself, ultimatly, This is a Really good album. :D

Lazy Wednesday.

*Sighs* Well, two days until Christmas, and not in the sprit. I've tried everything, Baking, puttting up some stockings, even watching the grinch and home alone. I don't know what my problem is, but I've just been a Scrooge Lately. After my failed attempts at trying to pursue christmas spirt, I do what I always do when I'm in a rut: Watch youtube videos for hours on end. I've been doing nothing really all day. but I did come across these lovely (lovely, really?)videos.(the first one is one of my new favorite bands, Neon Indian, performing "Terminal Chill", the second is MSTRKRFT, performing a remix of Justice's "D.A.N.C.E")Love IT!! :D

Indie Music Monday: Bat For Lashes-Two Suns

One of my favorite albums, Two Suns, by Bat For Lashes. This is honestly one of the best albums of 2009. If you listen to the first record, Fur and Gold(which was equally as awsome. One of the main reasons I Listen to Indie music :) you will notice a certain evolution between them; Kinda like a Evolving way, (and If you have seen the doctumentary, you will see that Natasha [the singer] talks about how she and her journies has contributed to her album. This album has a certain rhythm, a flowness, if you will, that most albums lack. When I listen to Two suns, It not like listening to a CD, It takes me to a place mentally, where I can't go listening to for example, Lady Gaga. It puts me in a state; another place, from reality, a place where my mind is at peace. And thats what a good album should be. :D

Apparently, today is the first day of me posting material for my new blog.(yay!)
The reason for this post is to let you know what you'll be seening, and what will be going on. I have many, MANY, ideas, and so here are a few:
